Amazing photography by Cindy Burnham – Lucky Shot Productions

She swims with sharks, explores shipwrecks, and travels the world for adventures. Fast forward … her photography has appeared on the covers and pages of Newsweek, The New York Times, People, USA Today, The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated and Time Life Books. From the undersea world to every man, from hard news to fashion, food and nature, the photography of Cindy Burnham has inspired awe for more than four decades. As a teenager, she began her career as a behind-the-scenes and front-and-center photographer at rock concerts – including unique captures of Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones. Exuberant Cindy went on to shoot and shoot and shoot … and studied photography in college. She landed at The Fayetteville (N.C.) Observer, where she worked for 36 years and won too many photography awards to count. Along the way, she co-founded Nautilus Productions, a video company with clients as diverse as The Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel and “60 Minutes.” As owner of Lucky Shot Productions, the photography arm of Nautilus Productions, Burnham has traveled the globe on editorial and advertising assignments. “For me, it’s always been about capturing moments in time,” she says. “I really do believe I have the best job in the world.”
